Johnny Memphis doesn't consider himself an Elvis impersonator. He actually doesn't believe there is such a thing. Elvis was one of kind. No one can impersonate Elvis. He has a deep respect for Elvis, his legacy, and his music. He does not try to be Elvis, but instead, he let’s the audience experience the energy, emotion, and humor that Elvis put into his performances, without over exaggerating as so many of the Elvis "wannabes". It’s a real show with genuine credibility. So many discover Johnny is humble and feels connected with people and adores his fans.

    As Johnny performs, fans cry, cheer, and dance. Johnny can adjust his voice to sing 1950's, 60's and 70's Elvis tunes equally well. Johnny's "Elvis By Request Show" is a classic old time Rock and Roll experience, filled with patriotism, wholesome entertainment and thrills that will take you back in time.

    Now and then, Johnny throws in a few other tributes. You never know when you might hear a little Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Louie Armstrong, or even Elmer Fudd.

    Johnny uses a state of the art Bose sound system that is quick to setup, and sounds great. He not only wears the famous white Elvis jumpsuits from time to time, but he also wears a variety of flashy self-designed customs just to make it interesting for the fans that come out to the shows over and over again.
